Fall Party Recap

Fall Party 2014 was a HUGE success! While the Cowboy’s game brought a slow start to the event, we had a good turn out by the end, and we raised approximately $3,800 for Robert E Lee Elementary. That’s our best fund raising year yet! BACD is serious about raising awareness for Robert E Lee and helping them become the go-to neighborhood school for BACD residents. The money raised at this year’s event will go towards a “Smart Classroom”, a technology enabled classroom that will be the envy of other area schools. We need to raise just a little more to fund an entire classroom, so look for more info on that soon!

This year’s Fall Party winners include:

BACD Hero of the Year: Claudia Worme. Claudia is a long-time BACD resident who has donated a great deal of time making our neighborhood a better place for all of us. She’s our resident tree advocate, and she has headed every tree planting we have done (leading to the planting of 60 new trees in BACD) and she had chaired and served on several committees – Porch Crawl, Yard of the Month, Beautify Belmont! and Fall Party. Thank you Claudia for all you do!
